This is indeed an interesting proposal. 4Seasons City Farm is having their board retreat all day Sat to discuss our grants, outreach and market participation for this year. We had a booth at the newly formed Main St market by Blackburn Rec Center. I think we hope to be there again this year in support of the local community. The WIC market on Parsons was really bustling. I thought there were too many growers coming in from other counties at WIC, myself. Both could support desperately needed jobs in this neighborhood. I would also like to see cottage industries developed with our kitchen at Old 1st Presbyterian. Acenet in Athens is one of my ideals for inner city Columbus that would be based on the cooperative business model.
